Who we are

Storeo is a trading name of RMV Storage & Removals Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 08464112. Our registered office is Office 116b Vision 25, Innova Park, Electric Avenue, London EN3 7GD. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us at info@storeo.co.uk or on 0208 0900 232.

What we collect

Your name, email address, phone number and address; the details of your bookings, deliveries and payments; the inventory of what you store and the values you give; photos we take of your items; messages you send us; and, where we ask for it, a photo of your proof of identity. We do not store your card details. They are held by our payment provider.

Why we use it

To provide the storage, collection and delivery service you book (our contract with you); to take payment and send invoices and receipts; to keep your goods insured and deal with any claim; to check who you are; to send you emails about your booking, such as confirmations, reminders and invoices; and to meet our legal and accounting duties. We have a legitimate interest in keeping our records and preventing fraud.

Proof of identity

If you upload proof of identity, it is encrypted before it is stored, only our team can open it, and each time it is opened is recorded.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run Storeo: our database and hosting providers (Supabase and Vercel), our payment providers (Stripe and GoCardless), our email provider (Resend), Google (for address suggestions, and for copies of our statements and invoices kept in our own Google Drive), and our accountants. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

For as long as you store with us, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records, normally six years. Proof of identity is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, to object to how we use it, or to receive a copy. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
